IQRA International Educational Foundation is a non-profit Islamic educational establishment of global repute. It has been instituted to creatively respond to the growing need of the Islamic instruction in the modern day schools. The concept was propounded by Abidullah and Tasneema Ghazi at ‘Islamic Sunday school’ on the campus of Harvard University in 1968. Formally, started in 1983, IQRA’ International Educational Foundation has published a diverse collection of textbooks, workbooks, teacher’s guides, curriculum manuals and audio-visual content.
Its program is popular in North America and in many English-speaking countries across the world. It is a trusted name in Islamic education. IQRA offers a comprehensive and systematic program covering Fiqh, Akhlaq, Sirah, Hadith, Qur’an, history, geography, literature and Arabic language. Under IQRA curriculum, every subject at each grade-level has a standard philosophy statement, framework, scope & sequence, and behavioral objectives, each tailored for the relevant grade. ASE academic board has underscored the essence of IQRA curriculum and signed the agreement with IQRA authorities for taking up its studies at the school
